Getting Around

A good road network links all the major towns and villages of Pembrokeshire with most of these being served by bus, train or both. The coastal roads can be narrow and are subject to congestion during the high season.

The Pembrokeshire County Council in collaboration with the National Park Authority has developed a network of Coastal Bus Services. These services run along the coast and are designed to help people access the National Park coastline and countryside without having to use their cars. They enable walkers to walk the Coast path in one direction and then use the Coastal buses to return to their starting point.

During the period May to the end of September, the services run 7 -days a week. During the winter period the Poppit Rocket, Strumble Shuttle, Puffin Shuttle and Coast Cruiser services run 3 -days a week.
